Truth Speaks: A Spoken Word Challenge for the Future of Justice

🎙️ Truth Speaks: A Spoken Word Challenge for the Future of Justice

Your voice is more than a sound. It’s a story, a seed, and a spark.
This June, Nigerian Law School students (Class of 2024/25 – Regular Set) are invited to lend their voice to a powerful civic movement that goes beyond competition—TRUTH SPEAKS.

✨ What is Truth Speaks?

Truth Speaks is a spoken word competition that dares law students to creatively explore SDG 16Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions – as it relates to:

  • The Nigerian legal system
  • Institutional reform
  • Access to justice

Powered by PROJECT BAR, an initiative of Akinboro & Co, and brought to life by Citizens Initiatives for Rights and Empowerment (CITIZINRE) in collaboration with the Nigerian Law School SRC, this platform amplifies the voices of tomorrow’s legal advocates.

🎯 The Mission

This is more than a talent showcase. It’s a civic advocacy movement designed to:

  • Educate minds
  • Amplify unheard voices
  • Preserve cultural heritage
  • Spark national conversations around justice

Whether your truth is best expressed in English, Yoruba, Igbo, or Hausa, this is your moment to speak creatively, loudly, and fearlessly.

  • 🥇 ₦500,000
