At CITIZINRE, we believe lasting change happens when communities lead. Our work focuses on four thematic areas that respond directly to the challenges facing Nigeria’s most vulnerable populations. Through advocacy, education, mediation, and empowerment, we address root causes and build sustainable peace, equity, and opportunity.
Conflict Resolution and Mediation
We build peaceful communities by promoting dialogue, peer mediation, and early warning systems. Our grassroots conflict resolution programs foster trust, reduce violence, and resolve disputes constructively.
Peacebuilding and Reconciliation
We facilitate civic engagement, reconciliation processes, and capacity-building initiatives that strengthen community resilience. Our work bridges societal divides through empathy and empowerment.
Climate Action and Environmental Justice
We address environmental degradation through awareness, legal support, and sustainable practices. Our programs elevate climate justice by mobilizing local communities and influencing policy.
Social Justice and Advocacy
We defend human rights, support marginalized voices, and drive systemic change through storytelling, legal aid, and grassroots mobilization. Advocacy is the heartbeat of CITIZINRE.

Truth Speaks – Advocacy Through Culture
“Truth Speaks” is our flagship advocacy initiative using indigenous storytelling, digital platforms, and spoken word to bridge communication gaps and amplify grassroots voices.
